What to expect during your first visit.

Plan for the first appointment to take anywhere between 1.5-2.5 hours—this allows me to get a thorough history of your most urgent concerns, a more in-depth understanding of your lifestyle and how this fits into the bigger picture of health and well-being, and to develop the best treatment plan for you.

  • Cancellation Notice

     Please allow 24 hr notice to cancel an appointment—this allows the needs of other patients to be served when appointments become available.      

  • Insurance Information

I do not do direct billing with insurance but will provide you with an invoice that you may then submit to insurance for reimbursement. Legislation in Maine has passed, requiring that Maine-based insurance companies cover visits to naturopathic doctors.  Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company to find out coverage availability for services, as coverage for naturopathic doctors is continually changing.

  • Payments

Payment is due at time of services.  Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.  If you are unable to pay the set fee, please contact Dr. Cluney to find out about a possible payment plan or sliding scale fee.
